The map shows the distribution of bearded seal. The bearded seal (Erignathus barbatus), is one of the largest seals in the Norwegian Arctic. They occur mostly alone in the icy parts of the Barents Sea usually in drift ice, but are occationally observed downward along the Norwegian coast
