Atlantic white-sided dolphin

The map shows the distribution of the Atlantic white-sided dolphin(Lagenorhynchus acutus). It belongs to the classical dolphins, and thus also is a toothed whale. It is endemic to the North Atlantic and is found in cold temperate to subpolar waters, where the water temperature is typically between 6 and 20 ° Celsius and the water depth is about 40-250 meters. Along the Norwegian coast is the rarely seen north of Trondheim Fjord.
