Dette er arealer rundt kraftledninger som er klausulert i medhold av konsesjon etter energiloven og ekspropriasjon etter oreigningslova eller minnelig avtale med berørte grunneiere. Byggeforbudssonen legger restriksjoner på aktivitet i denne sonen. Det er ikke tillatt med ny bebyggelse innenfor byggeforbudssonen og alle tiltak i terrenget og anleggsarbeid innenfor byggeforbudssonen skal på forhånd avklares med ledningseier. Datasettet er et landsdekkende datasett for Statnett. \n\nStatnett ønsker i tillegg å informere om at det er en varslingsplikt til ledningseier for anleggsarbeid (maskiner og utstyr) som kan nå innenfor 30 meter fra ytterste strømførende ledning. Da skal ledningseier kontaktes for nødvendig avklaringer og tillatelse til anleggsarbeid innenfor denne varslingssonen.\n\nDatasettet har tidligere blitt kalt Hensynssoner
